Arm damping with silicon fluid bath usefull?

Hello,

I'm owning an Technics SL1610MK2 which is in very good condition and equipped with Technics U205Mk3 with Van Den Hull Needle
I would like to hear about your experiences with fluid bath damping on the arm, like the 1200 mk2 arm and if it's worthwhile?
