Consonance Orfeo CD

O sea,... a otra cosa.
Thanks.

Re: Consonance Orfeo CD

>> I am a long time visitor to Portugal since 1972 and visit every year on golfing trips to the Algarve .
The sales of the Calaf and Turandot have slipped of late and we have received a better response on the [slightly ] smaller "Forbidden City" range namely the "Tristan" and "Orfeo", the CD player uses our preferred method of filterless,non-oversampling dac that we believe is a lot more musical than the 24 bit dacs as used in the Turandot and at a lower price, the Tristan is a half sized Calaf but still employing the cool class A amplification design with 100wpc instead of the 200wpc of its bigger brother.
I have enclosed a couple of reviews for you to read, unless your loudspeaker is very difficult to drive I doubt if you would notice much difference in power even if it may seem half the rated power,we tried the Tristan on some Wilson Watt/puppies and it drove them easily, it also has a phono stage if you use a turntable.
These are in stock in the all black finish as seen in the HF+ review at £1195/£1295, all prices were increased January 2009 due to the exchange rate, and we could ship these to you in Portugal, they are 240v versions and suitable for use on 230v mains.
If you are interested we have a pair that are ex-review/unmarked and can offer these at a reduced price, still with a 12 month warranty.
Regards,
