This is the complete show. This is a continuous running recording of the entire show with all songs included. This verifies the songs played and the order the songs were played in. Also this setlist is confirmed in Levon Helm's book "This Wheel's On Fire".
The only time it seems the recording was stopped or paused was at the end of track 10 before the encore song durring the applause then started back up. This source is the best sounding undedited raw source around.

This is the only raw source of this show that is complete. The two that are the closest are
1) At Woodstock [Wilcock Records 2000] - sourced from three different sources, missing 2 songs and not in the correct order
2) At Woodstock [Home(r) Entertainment Network Germany HEN106 2004) - still missing one song

I thought i would bring this to light and share being that i have never seen this shared before and if it has i never seen this one that i have had for years shared. This was given to me from a special friend who is no longer with us and i am sure he would like to see more people enjoy this. He used to play this for me all the time and say life just seems simple when you here these guys play this music. He gave me two copies one to preserve and one to play all the time. This is an eac (sercure) from the cdr i never played. I know he was at this festival and had alot of good connections and this was lineage he gave me.

The sound is AMAZING and the PERFORMANCE is OUTSTANDING

Sigo (y seguiré) con mi homenaje a The Band ahora que ya ha salido a la venta las extensa box-set de Dylan & The Band 1974, son 27 CDs en los que no hay ni un solo minuto de las extensas interpretaciones (sin Dylan) de The Band y no estaban al final ni al principio de los conciertos, intercaladas ya que eran un todo... pero antes de continuar una pequeña "observación"..... me "borro del foro" (en gran parte hace ya tiempo que "pasaba" de la parte de "equipos y aledaños", el hastío venía de muy lejos...) salvo en el apartado música en el que seguiré aportando descargas de conciertos con el fin de "aportar contenido sustancial". Si alguien pudiera pensar en que en esto hay diferencias / enfado "con un amigo que administra" mejor que se tire por un barranco....como esos que tan sobrados (y encantados) estamos en estas maravillosas Islas....

En esta miserable edición no hay ni un puto concierto (no hace falta que fueran todos, con un par o tres....) completo y es.... UNA VERGÜENZA en la que no participaré gastándome ni un puñetero céntimo. Hay que ser gilipollas profundo para creer/pensar que en las grabaciones de mesa (lo que se está publicando) se para la cinta en los tramos (intercalados) en los que The Band estaban solos sobre el escenario y cuando se incorporaba Bob "se diera al REC"..........

Completamente impresentable y yo (con mi pasión dylaniana a cuestas) no me lo como todo. Ya que estamos diré que Bob & Band (con notables cambios) están "de pena" este 2024, especialmete en la gira Outlaw (primavera-verano) que es en general (por la parte que le toca) PENOSA y que me ha hecho decidir (el ciertamenter no tan lamentable pero nada satisfactorio anterior tramo invierno-primavera) PASAR COMPLETAMENTE de la gira europea de este otoño. Yo "no me lo como todo", otros sí.... sea "manjar" o fritanga guarripé.... lo digieren (en principio, dentro de unos años dirán otra cosa) todo. Expecting Rain en el apartado de conciertos ya da auténtica pena..... al que disiente (que los hay, muy pocos) lo crujen.......

This broadcast is a little funky....the audience levels are brought up between songs (the crowd is rowdy) and the vocals are a tad weak at times. The stereo separation expands and contracts in a few places....

I broke out the Announcers talking into separate tracks in case you wanted to omit them…….(For your listening pleasure). The WBCN ID's were not broken out as they overlapped the audience......they also contain a plug for Ampex Tape and Lechmeres. I'll leave it up to you as to what you want to do with them. Believe it or not I had to do a reel flip during this show.......it is only during the 2nd encore when the announcers are talking and did not edit out any music.  (Anybody out there ever do a 10 1/2" reel flip......it can be a little tricky). There are still some imperfections though including some noticeable wow and flutter in the early show and over-modulation of some vocals in the late show. Nevertheless this is a really nice copy overall and well worth comparing the many other sources of these shows out there. As usual, if anyone can share a better copy than this, PLEASE DO…

Here are both of The Doors' 1968 Stockholm shows on 2 CDs. They were originally broadcast on Stockholm's Radiothuset radio station.

The first CD contains the complete early show recording and comes from three different bootleg sources. The opening track is from "The Beautiful Die Young" LP which has a few extra seconds before the announcer comes on. The bulk of the show comes from the "Live In Stockholm 1968" CD release. The bass was really high on this bootleg so I did some slight EQing to bring the bass down and bring up the high ends. I also swapped the channels to match up with the Stockholm master tapes and to match with the late show recording. The last track from the early show comes from the "Apocalypse Now" bootleg and has been speed-corrected. Note on the early show: Jim's mic cuts out during "When The Music's Over" due to a technical glitch on the original recording and his vocals are buried for most of the song.

The second CD contains the complete late show recording and comes from a speed-corrected version of the "Apocalypse Now" bootleg. I also did some amplification to get the best sound.

These both seem to be the best sources currently available for the Stockholm shows. The Doors have yet to release these shows because they still seem to be working out a deal with Swedish Radio for the rights. Until then, these bootleg recordings are the best we have.

EDITING NOTES:
Live recordings by Little Richard recorded during has prime or during his sixties comeback are scarce to say the least. This recording, made in 1966 during Little Richard's mid-sixties rock n' roll comeback finds the "Atomic Bomb of Rock N' Roll" in fine form, tearing the roof off whatever venue it is he is playing at in Paris on that particular evening. One thing is for sure, the audience sounds pretty rowdy and reacts enthusiastically throughout the entire performance which is stellar and classic rock n' roll.
The recording, while originating from a soundboard source, was taken from a rare vinyl LP that was produced in France in seemingly limited quantities and it does have its detriments. It's possible that the record used in the transfer was in less than desirable condition, as there are quite a large number of clicks and pops on the source recording. At the same time, the source recording from that pressing may have been somewhat damaged or worn out and thus contained a lot of the same noise.
My attempts in remastering this recording are largely based on eliminating the bulk of audible clicks and pops that are heard throughout. In order to achieve this goal without doing significant damage to the musical material of the source recording, I used the Heal function of Adobe Audition CS6 to get rid of the most irritating clicks. To anyone unaware of the Heal function, what it does is allow you to zoom in on and select a very small section of audio that contains a click, pop, or similar anomaly using a spectral view and remove it without affecting the musical portion of audio. Each edit is only an average of 1/600th of a second in length anyways which leaves the bulk of audio completely unaffected. This "healing" process took many days to complete to my satisfaction as individually hand-picking each click & pop can be quite tedious, even with a relatively short recording of less than 30 minutes.
In the end I think it was worth the effort even if there may be a few audible clicks still here and there, most of them have been removed.
The second adjustment in this remaster was made to produce a more balanced frequency response. The source recording tends to have far too much low end. To achieve the desired results, I used a simple 10-band equalizer to adjust the boominess and harshness associated with an abundance of specific frequency ranges.
The last adjustment was amplitude based as the source recording trakcs are all incredibly quiet and thus were increased significantly. To do this, I simply amplified each track to a more decent level, making sure not to throw off the relative track levels or go close to over boosting the signal at any point. No compression, limiting or noise reduction was used in the remastering of this recording. I would never go close to producing any clipping or noise as a result of compression/limiting and the like. Some may prefer less dynamics to match modern day popular music recording but this is just the way I prefer to listen to music.
I also included the original massive LP art scans that were with the source upload as well as new disc artwork I created using these scans.

The transfer done by Jerry Moore needed some adjustments.

The early show's playback volume was very low. I boosted the left channel +6 db and the right channel +10 db.

The late show's playback was unbalanced. I lowered the left channel -1.5 db and boosted the right channel volume +2.5 db.

Now both shows are equal volume. I also retracked a few of the songs and corrected a couple song titles.

There is a tape stop at the end of track 111, which causes track 112 to start in progress. A little music missing.

There is a tape stop at the end of track 202, which causes track 203 to start in progress. No music missing.
