La cálida y aterciopelada voz de Karen Carpenter se apagó para siempre un 4 de Febrero de 1983, cuando su corazón, muy debilitado por una anorexia nerviosa, dejó de latir, tenia 32 años.
Hay una frase en su canción “The end of the world”, que es mi preferida, que parece una premonición, Why does my heart go on beating?
